“The Darkest Hour” and Jimmy Carr: New Tom Felton Pics

New photos of Tom were posted with one being from the indefinable comedian Jimmy Carr, host of 8 out of 10 Cats. The picture was taken at the taping of the show Tom attended yesterday, and was posted to Jimmy’s Twitpics with the caption “I really can’t see what Harry Potter is talking about. Met Draco & I wasn’t scared as you can see.”

Also released was the new “The Darkest Hour” poster of Tom as Draco with Snape, Bellatrix, and Fenrir Greyback from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. If you remember, this poster was first seen on a billboard in Los Angeles, but was recently released online through Warner Brothers HBP Facebook page.

Tom Felton confirms appearance on “8 out of 10 Cats”
Tom with Jason Manford

Tom with Jason Manford

As Feltbeats.com reported earlier today, Tom was headed to the taping of a “certain tv show,”  and while fellow Twitterer Jason Manford spilled the beans before he could,  we have official confirmation from Tom through his Twitter account.

Was a guest on 8 of 10 cats tonight! Lots of fun! Big thanks to @jimmycarr and @jason_manford 2 great guys! Sooo funny!! Airs next week x

The regularly scheduled broadcast time for the 8 out of 10 Cats comedy panel is Friday’s at 10pm on Channel 4 in the UK.    For those of you (like me) who have never heard of the show, it is a comedy panel gameshow that asks various celebrities questions based on opinion polls, and is according to their website, “irreverent, and often irrelevent.”  The host for the show is comedian Jimmy Carr with team captains Sean Lock and Jason Manford assisting.

After the event, Mr. Manford tweeted me about Tom:

jason2

We think so too, Mr. Manford. :)

The 8 out of 10 Cats episode featuring Tom should be airing on Friday 26 June on Channel 4 in the UK.  Feltbeats.com will keep you informed of any changes should they occur.  Please check out their website for more information.

Jason Manford Tweets about upcoming meet with Tom Felton

Earlier today Tom tweeted about being excited and nervous on his way to film a “certain TV show.”

On the way to film a certain tv show, nervous and excited!  Will reveal more later!! X

Thanks to the beauty of the fabulous world of Twitter, we may already know! Jason Manford of British comedy show 8 out of 10 Cats on Channel 4 tweeted about his nerves in meeting Tom just a few short hours later.

jason

According to the 8 out of 10 Cats website, the next air date for the show will be Friday 19 June at 10pm, and it included this short synopsis:

Jimmy Carr hosts the topical comedy panel show as team captains Sean Lock and Jason Manford battle it out to discover who knows what is going on in Britain today.

Rounds include What Are You Talking About, in which the teams dissect current news stories, and Believe It or Not , in which they have to spot the false statement.

Guests include Claudia Winkleman.

If we infer correctly from Mr. Manford’s tweet, one of the upcoming episodes will feature Tom with the filming for it occuring today.  Let us know if you are able to watch, and if you are able to record an episode featuring Tom, send it in!  This little American would be ever so grateful (as will everybody else, I’m sure).  A second airing date for 8 out of 10 Cats is also listed for this coming Sunday 21 June on Channel 4. Feltbeats.com will keep you up to date with the latest information as it comes in.

GOSH Formula 1 Auction attended by Tom Felton
untitled

Last night Tom attended the Formula One Party in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. As you know, Tom is a big supporter of the Children’s Charity having attended their Pirate’s Adventure fundraising event in Majorca and their most recently held  Christmas event.  According to the GOSH Charity website, this annual event raised £450,000 for the charity and was considered a huge success.  Items included in the bidding were ”dinner with Orlando Bloom and Lewis Hamilton’s bespoke Steinmetz diamond-encrusted helmet which sold for £30,000.”

The article from Formula 1 had this to say concerning the guest list:

In terms of guests, the party proved to be as big a draw as ever with celebrities from entertainment, sport and show business packing into the museum. Formula One racing was represented by reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton, Renault’s Nelson Piquet, team principals Ross Brawn and Christian Horner and CVC‘s Nick Clary. Also in attendance was model Erin O’Connor, singer Jamelia, actor Damian Lewis, TV star Tina Hobley, the party’s creative director Tamara Ecclestone and her sister Petra, and Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. And then there was the star act of the evening – Grammy award-winning singer Duffy. When she started to perform her number-one single Mercy there was no holding back for the audience, who forgot their cerebral location and turned the Victoria and Albert Museum into a wild concert venue.

Thanks to Estrella89san for the tip!
