In MTV’s Movies Blog, they discussed Tom’s recent DRAMA Magazine photo shoot pictures and ask they’ve found the new Jack Sparrow.

Today’s Daily TwitPic has me mildy disturbed. You all know Tom Felton of course. He’s Draco Malfoy, boy wizard and all-around rascal in the “Harry Potter” series. He’s kind of a jerk in the movies, and he plays the role well. In real life though, or at least in his micro-blogging Twitter life, he comes off as an okay enough chap.

The pic he posted yesterday though… it’s a little weird. Even he admits it. It comes from some magazine spread he did, and the getup they have him wearing is downright odd. Felton looks like some strange pirate/S&M enthusiast. The pose he’s struck and the expression on his face don’t help any. Have we found our replacement for Jack Sparrow in the post-”Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” world?

As we told you preivously, Tom Felton presented the Young Film Critics awards during the launch of the National Schools Film Week at in London’s Leicester Square yesterday afternoon.

According to Scholastic’s Web site:

An audible gasp of delight went up from the young audience when Harry Potter star, Tom Felton (aka Draco Malfoy) arrived on stage to present the awards in two new categories – open to members of Film Education’s Film Club.

“It’s a thrill to see such dedication going into getting young children into the cinema,” remarked Tom. “I was blessed with going to the cinema at a young age, yet I am hearing today that there are children who have never been to a cinema before, or are not going on a regular basis. So it’s fantastic that this initiative is helping to address that.”

Thanks to Estrella89San of TomFeltonFans_, we have word that Tom’s movie, “The Disappeared” will be released in Germany on Nov. 20 in video stores, and on Decemeber 4th on DVD. The DVD can also be pre-ordered here on Amazon.De.

Information about the bonus material is not known yet. But the film is apparently dubbed in German.

We do not have information yet on other releases, but I’m sure that we’ll love lots of news soon!
