Tom Felton Discusses his “Heartthrob” Status With New Zealand Website

In a recent interview with New Zealand website www.stuff.co.nz, Tom Felton discusses why he doesn’t consider himself a heartthrob and why he goes out of his way to look nice for his fans.

Tom Felton says “looking nice” is the least he can do for his fans.

The 23-year-old actor is best known for playing evil character Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie franchise about life at a school for witches and wizards.

Handsome Tom has built up a massive fan base during his time on the movie franchise, which will end for good later this year when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released.

The British star appreciates how many adoring female fans he has, so he always makes an effort to look good for them.

“I’m amazed by the support I get on Twitter and websites. The fans are so supportive, so I can only do my best to look nice at events,” he blushed.

Although he makes an effort to look dapper, Tom can’t quite comprehend the notion that he’s a dreamboat for many young ladies. Tom doesn’t see himself that way and would rather leave hunks such as fellow Brit Robert Pattinson to fit that bill.

“That’s a word I don’t understand,” he laughed in response to claims he’s a heartthrob.

    • @feltbeats I think the fact that Tom doesn’t realize how much of a “heartthrob” he is makes him all the more attractive.

  1. Thomas knows how to say thank you, to witness gratitude towards whom of right, all the while staying humble.

I follow him regarding the fact that he doesn’t see himself as a dreamboat for us, ladies, for the simple reason that I never perceived him this way either on my share.

    With Love,

    Sam.

  2. He is already attractive, but the fact that he is in one of the most successful movie franchises in human history and doesn’t let the fame go to his head is what makes him even more attractive.

  3. ‘Heartthrob’ sounds like something out of the 1950s. Maybe we could move forward into the 1970s and call Tom a fox. 1980s: babe. The ’90s: hottie. The ’00s: hot.

Okay, we just plain need to come up with a new word for ‘cute and sexy guy’.

  4. Heartthrob: “It’s a word I don’t understand”.
Well, haha, lets see if I can break it down for you Tom…
Heartthrob (n): One who is considered pleasing to the senses, often resulting in a “pounding” in the chest, increased respiration rate, and increased circulation to the face.
    Heartthrob (n): [Tom Felton]

(totally made those up. Enter in urban dictionary? I think so!)
