As we announced yesterday, Tom was scheduled to appear on Sky Sports Cricket AM today. On the show, Tom discussed growing up on the set of “Harry Potter” and equating the end of it to graduating from college, watching and playing the cricket as a couple with his friend Daniel Radcliffe (who he admits knows more on the strategy and stats than he does himself), and being a baller for his brothers while playing with their own personal net in the garden. Tom also mentions towards the end (after everyone does not ignore his inadvertent remark on being in a couple with Dan *snerk*) his work with cricket charity “Chance to Shine.”

Tom Felton chats with AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman about the end of the “Harry Potter” movie franchise, but what’s it like watching himself grow up on screen? Also, Tom talks about working with Ashley Greene on “The Apparition” and more.

The two-part film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final installment in the hit series, is edgier, grittier and may be seen as more shocking than the previous few films, says Tom Felton, who plays villainous wizard student Draco Malfoy.

“This isn’t going to get a little edgier, this is going to get a lot edgier,” said Felton, 22. “The audiences that may have been suitable in the first two films are going to be quite radically shocked in this one, I think.”

“The stuff that I’ve shot was certainly a lot more grittier, I don’t want to say hardcore but they’ve taken it to a whole other level with the action sequences and the battles. It’s a lot of fun,” he said

In the final movie, whose first installment is set for release on November 19, Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe, faces off in a final battle against his nemesis, the evil wizard Voldemort.

Felton, who was not originally cast as Malfoy and kept his hair dyed blond since he first played the character in the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (called Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone outside of the United States), when he was about 14, says he is “honored” to be a part of the franchise.

“To say it’s been a privilege is a massive understatement,” Felton said. “I’m hugely honored to be a part of this. I’m incredibly grateful. I’ve never gotten used to it. I’m hugely grateful to all the fans who have kept us going.”

Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, says he has begun filming Rise of the Apes, a prequel to the popular Planet of the Apes sci-fi movies, and also finished shooting a movie with Twilight’s Ashley Greene.

“I’ve just started shooting Caesar, Rise of the Apes, which is the Planet of the Apes prequel, which I’m mega, mega excited about,” Felton said. “It’s a project that I’ve been really passionate about for a long time.”

Felton, 22, also recently filmed a movie called The Apparition with Ashley Greene, who portrayed the vampire Alice Cullen in the Twilight films. Felton said the project was “a kind of science thriller with an ounce of horror.”

After previously announcing that no stars would be in attendance at the “Deathly Hallows” presentation at the world’s largest geek-fest San Diego’s Comic Con, it was revealed today via Twitter that Tom’s schedule has once again been opened up and he will be available to make an appearance at the event.

We are thrilled to announce that @TomFelton will be appearing at @wbpictures’ #DeathlyHallows presentation @Comic_Con this Saturday!

Tom is not listed as “Special Guest” for the event, so we are unaware if he will be one of the many stars offering autographs for purchase. However, this is a fairly last minutes announcement so that could change.

The “Deathly Hallows” presentation will be on this Saturday, July 25th at 11:45 PST. According to a previous statement, the WB is scheduled to show “fresh footage” of this final chapter of the “Harry Potter” saga. If anyone is able to get footage or photos of the event with Tom, please let us know.

After months of negotiations and resolving scheduling conflicts, Tom has finally been able to give the green light to his appearance at this years Ring*Con in Bonn, Germany.

According to the Ring*Con website:

Tom Felton, the nasty Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies, is attending RingCon 2010. Last year he had to cancel his appearance at our Convention due to filming schedules, so he owes us and first of all you, the fans and visitors, the attendance at RingCon. He will attend our Convention in October, so let’s look forward to Tom Felton!

Ring*Con will take place from October 15th-17th at the Hotel Maritim in Bonn, Germany. Feltbeats Admin Estrella89san has been in close contact with the organizers of the event, and has been instrumental in securing an interview with Tom for Feltbeats.com while he is in attendance.

Here is part 3 of Tom’s latest MTV interview.

While the recent trailers and TV spots for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ have proven to be sufficient teasers for Potterheads — showcasing a darker, more serious film and more harrowing action sequences — fans can’t seem to get enough news about the series’ much-discussed/hyped final scene: the epilogue.

When MTV News caught up with celebrated villain and MTV Movie Award winner Tom Felton, we asked him if in his big final scene, which is set 19 years in the “Potter” future, Draco Malfoy closes the series with any sweeping dialogue.

“I had a monologue prepared, but time was short,” he joked. “No, it was all in the presence and the look.”

So Draco Malfoy’s farewell is all in his menacing presence? “This is the idea, that’s what they told me,” he said. “Hopefully that reads. It was a lot of fun.”

Adding to the epilogue fun is the fact that Felton’s real-life girlfriend, “Potter” stunt assistant Jade Olivia, plays his wife in that final shot.

“She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it,” Felton told MTV at last month’s Movie Awards of convincing Olivia to step in and play Astoria Malfoy. “She was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross [railway station in the U.K.]. We were very excited.

“It gave me a chance to see what she’s going to look like in 19 years,” Felton added. “And if that’s what she looks like, I’m doing pretty well for myself,” he laughed. “But I look terrible,” he said of his own aged visage. “The years have not been kind to me in the slightest. But what can I do? I’ve gotta just roll with it.”

The UK’s Press Association has released an interview featuring Tom, Bonnie Wright, and Jason Isaacs where they each revealed to the FilmClub what films inspired them when they were young.

Harry Potter’s Tom Felton may play villain Draco Malfoy in the hit films, but he reveals he was inspired by screen heroes.

The 22-year-old told children’s charity Filmclub which movies inspired him on his journey to become an actor.

Tom said: “I remember as a kid loving Robin Hood and all the James Bond movies were a big inspiration to me as a child. Those were some of the films that I thought, ‘That would be a very cool job to do.’ So, I’m very lucky enough to be here.”

Jason Isaacs, who plays Draco’s father, the nasty Lucius Malfoy, revealed he was overwhelmed by cinema when he saw The Wizard of Oz.

He said: “I first saw it when I was a little kid on a giant screen and it was overwhelming – it was awash with colours and music and extraordinary looking people. One of the great things about the film is that it makes you think about films.”

Meanwhile, Bonnie Wright, who plays Harry’s girlfriend Ginny Weasley, revealed she was inspired by children’s classic A Little Princess.

She said: “The film that changed my life was A Little Princess, which I remember watching when I was a little girl and it made me really believe that inside every girl there is a little princess.”

For those of you in the US, you’ve had a month to see Tom’s cameo in “Get Him to the Greek,” but if you read Tom’s twitter, you would know it’s just been released in the UK. To help celebrate the opening (I’m assuming here since timing is oh so coincidental) MTV has released a short interview with Tom where he expounds rapturously on being asked to take part in the epic of Aldous Snow’s journey in the film.

“Get Him To The Greek” has been out in theaters for about a month now, so we’re assuming all you Tom Felton fans have run out to catch a glimpse of your boy’s cameo towards the beginning of the film. While “Greek” definitely has funnier moments, namely spewing out of the mouth of Russell Brand’s Aldous Snow, Jonah Hill asking Tom if they want to go hang out with Professor Snape was definitely a high point.

When we caught up with Tom in Orlando for the grand opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, we had to ask him about the cameo and his future as a comedic star.

“It was a dream come true to actually be on the set,” Tom said about the experience. “[Producer Judd Apatow] actually brought his kids down meet me and I was like, are you serious? You’re my hero. It was kind of surreal. A dream come true.”

Tom’s cameo came to be when Judd and Jonah Hill decided to visit the set of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” while they were filming in London. Tom, if you missed it, is a huge Jonah Hill fan (his favorite being “Superbad”) and asked if they could return the favor and have a cameo in “Greek.”

“Jonah’s a comic genius in my house. None of my friends really are that interested in the sort of actors that I work with, but they heard like Jonah’s name and they were going crazy,” Tom said.

While Tom said he definitely enjoyed his time on “Greek,” he doubts that becoming a comedic star is in his future. Unlike the “Harry Potter” films, “Greek” required a lot of improvisation that caught him by surprise.

“I’m also used to sticking on the mark and reading lines exactly as they were written. You can’t deviate at all,” he said. “It was nerve wracking, but hugely rewarding and fun. What they ended up with I think was pretty funny.”

From copious media attention, I’m sure that you’ve no doubt gathered that last week was the much anticipated grand opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. While Feltbeats set up a Live Coverage Feed of what was going on in Orlando, we also had Feltbeats Army members there at the scene. Their reports should be here shortly. Meanwhile, here’s what happened in other news:

First, some of the cast members decided it would be a good idea to regale the audience with their siren-like voices. However, Tom Felton declined, humorously answering that, since he was a “professional singer” he rather wouldn’t like to “embarrass” his fellow friends and cast members. Noble, I’d say!

Secondly, the cast came crashing into the opening ceremony courtesy of one Stan Shunpike, another Ernie Nolastname [oh, actually it's Prang. Who knew?], and their-ever handy big purple Knight Bus [Hopefully, no one got sick]. But by their exuberance in leaving the slightly insane bus, I would assume they were very grateful to come back on solid ground. They even invited that Death Eater Draco Malfoy in a show of future unity! Of course, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley must always break the rules, and, again, they graced the audience with their heroic entrance via our much loved, seemingly restored, second almost-sentient, and favorite Harry Potter car ever, the now-wild, blue Ford Anglia. Which, this time, did not crash into a Very Angry Tree Of Any Sort. They then Lumos Maxima’d [Sorry Dead Latin Language] the whole of Hogwarts Castle into existence – with a little help from the audience – and suddenly musical fireworks erupted – thank you Weasley Twins [and John Williams]. But all of this couldn’t happen until the cast made their way across a magical red carpet, of course. And Tom met up with the Feltbeats Girls.

Thirdly [that word sounds strange], The cast had a brilliantly, unlike-England day while they walked around in the overwhelming heat of Florida [Thankfully it wasn't The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Sahara Desert, although I hear they have a lot of flying carpets there, and there would be plenty of space to expand the world, have a Diagon Ally, and put Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, at least. I hear the Sphinx is fond of ice cream.] While they were there, they ambled over to the Three Broomsticks and had themselves a little Q&A session otherwise known as a Press Conference. No, Rita Skeeter wasn’t present, I’m afraid, though I’m sure there were lots of insects around. I certainly hope none of those antlers belonged to Prongs.

Fourthly [That sounds even stranger than thirdly], The Giant Hogwarts Envelop that was supposed to admit everyone into Hogwarts, for their advanced, just right, or late magical education, was flapping in the early morning humid breeze when the Hogwarts Express – magically not so sentient [a sentient train *shudders*] – came whistling in, and the cast members came out to welcome everyone inside. Thankfully, it appeared that Draco Malfoy took Professor Dumbledore up on the offer he presented him while on the Astronomy Tower in sixth year. Oh, yes, the envelop had already “opened” by then and winning schools were able to go into the park first, led by the cast members.

Fifthly [That's the strangest one yet], Tom Felton came back home, posted a new twitter picture, and, drinking orange juice, he lamented that he really misses butterbeer [it's probably not Floridian OJ, otherwise... okay, no, I'd want butterbeer too.] and Honeydukes. Which leads to this question: when you had to drink butterbeer on set, what exactly were you drinking? But Draco never actually drank butterbeer, not in front of a camera, did he? I guess I’d have to ask someone else… coughhinthintcough.
