Tom Felton recently spoke about how he would like to pursue some comedic projects as a means to break out of his villainous mold from the Harry Potter films, as well as how much Draco Malfoy has developed in Half-Blood Prince:

Tom admits that he has some comedic timing and would like to show it in future films:

“I don’t want to toot one’s horn so to speak, but I think I have the adequate timing and so forth to do comedic roles.

“Something along those lines would definitely interest me… As much as I’d love to play another villain, I do want to show different aspects to me in future roles.”

Felton continued: “You do have to be ever so careful about what you are taking on, but I’m not going to turn my nose up at anything and if something excites me, I’ll do it willingly.”

On Draco’s developing personality in the last two books, Tom had this to say:

“Before, Malfoy was always two-dimensional. It’s never gone into depth about why he is like he is.

“The latter books divulge into the depths of his childhood and his relationship with his father. A lot of questions and answered in the upcoming films and it makes playing him a lot more fun. He has much more varied emotions now rather than being a one-trick pony.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out July 17, 2009.

No pressure or anything, but please remember that the deadline for our “Emma of Lulworth Cove” graphics contest is very near!

Remember, this is your chance to have your artwork recognized on our site, as well as used officially on the pre-production “Emma of Lulworth Cove” movie site. The movie producer, Ray Stokes, will personally help choose the winning artwork!

And, again, there are some copyright restrictions that make this difficult, but remember that Jade and Tom have given us permission to use some of their personal photos.

So, please, fire up Photoshop (or your oil paints, crayons, whatever!) and get to work!

Felton:”I’ve Been Sent Spoon Fanmail”

Tom Felton has revealed that he was once sent silver spoons as a present from a Harry Potter fanatic.

The 21-year-old, who plays Draco Malfoy in the movies, said he regularly receives unusual gifts in the post from people who love the wizard films.

“I have some amazing pieces,” he told DS. “I get artwork, which is great. I get shoes, sweets.

“Someone sent me a cake for my birthday. I’ve had spoons - a silver spoon is supposed to symbolise good luck I think, so I’m very grateful for my spoon collection.

“There are some very strange and bizarre products.”

Commenting on the followers of J.K. Rowling’s series, he added: “There are some heavily convinced American teenagers that take it way too seriously, but saying that, it’s a joy and amazing to see the fans every year.

“It’s one of the franchises of our generation and it’s an honour to be part of it.”

Tom Felton discusses “Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie” with ITN (with video!)

Another interview with Tom about “Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie” was posted today. This one shows snippets of the show and also a sit-down interview with Tom!

Remember, the show airs tonight at 3PM US-Central, 9 PM GMT on ITV2, so get ready!

Harry Potter star Tom Felton has shown his daring side in the new series of Jack Osbourne’s Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie.

On the show Osbourne puts his star guests through their paces.

Felton said: “We started with great white shark diving, we went ostrich racing as well. We flew a glider plane, which was a hell of an experience.”

Felton said he hasn’t done anything like it before: “I’m not a thrill seeker at all. My thrill seeking goes as far as country walks in the park.

“I was seriously thrown in at the deep-end but Jack was very supportive.”

Felton was joined on his adventure by former Hollyoaks star and model Gemma Atkinson and former Coronation Street actress Wendi Peters.

The show will screen on a Wednesday night.

Digital Spy posted another interview with Tom today:

Tom Felton has claimed that appearing on Jack Osbourne: Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie changed his life.

The Harry Potter actor said his most adventurous activity prior to the show included “walking through the park with a dog” and “going for a jog”.

Felton participates in ostrich racing, swimming with sharks and bungee jumping on the ITV2 reality programme.

“It’s shown me what I’m capable of,” he told Digital Spy. “It’s definitely changed my life.

“Saying that, I haven’t booked my next free fall out of a jet plane just yet.”

Speaking about the show’s host, Felton commented: “He was great, so many people have asked me about Jack, I think people expect him to be a bit wild. A bit of a loose canon. But he’s really down to earth.

“He’s a gentleman beyond gentleman. He looked after us massively while we were out there. I can’t say enough nice things about him.”

When asked whether he would be performing his own stunts on the Harry Potter set in the future, he joked: “My licence to thrill! The producers probably won’t want me to do that no matter how much I’m game for it.”

Jack Osbourne: Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie airs on ITV2 on Wednesday at 9pm.
