In March was the grand opening of the “Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter“ (we reported here and here) and some of the Harry Potter actors answered many questions in interviews at the press events.

You know, Tom is currently in Serbia for filming his new film “Therese” (formerly known as Therese Raquin). Two weeks ago Katarina and Potterhead_mee met Tom at his hotel. Thanks for the photos!

MTV released the nominations for this year’s MTV Movie Awards. The category “Best Villain” was replaced by the category “Best On-Screen Dirt Bag”. Unfortunately, Tom is not nominated in this category.

BUT we can still vote for him, because Tom and his castmates Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint of “Harry Potter” are nominated in the category “Best Cast“.

Daniel, Emma and Rupert were also nominated in other categories. In addition, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” was nominated in the category “Movie of the Year“. The full list of nominations can be found here.

The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET!

Today is the Charity Premiere of the Pirates Adventure Show Mallorca. The proceeds of the event go to Great Ormond Street Children\’s Hospital and a donation to the Support Charley fund. Tom attended the charity premiere show (we reported here and here) in the year 2009 . Because of the event today, Pirates Adventure Show Mallorca looks back at their past charity premieres with this video (watch below). You can see Tom a few times in the video. You see him with kids and he talked after the show about his impressions. We already know his enthusiasm about the show (watch here - at the end of the video) but I think this video it’s a nice memory.

And he did appear! He was really nice, and very, very tired. He spoke in a quiet voice, shook hands with us, signed some of our papers and took a few pictures. I didn’t get to take a picture with him, because he was already saying that “this is the last one” for a few times already and I didn’t want to chase him and seem rude.

It all seemed just so… SURREAL YOU KNOW. Like he was there, right there, and I kept shaking and my whole face was sorta twitching from the smiling and my voice was shrill. I feel we totally scared him, but, in the end, I think we were pretty nice and composed. We did everything he asked [moved away so he could push his luggage] welcomed him here a lot, told him we like him films and all that.. We were quite nice.

END7 is a grassroots campaign that seeks to catalyse support for NTD control efforts to encourage major political and philanthropic leaders to increase funding for this important global health issue.

British actor Tom Felton is calling on his fans to join him in the fight to eliminate seven neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) by 2020. As an ambassador for the END7 campaign, Felton is helping to raise public awareness about these devastating diseases of poverty that infect one in six people worldwide, including 500 million children.

It costs just 50 pence to treat and protect one person against all seven major NTDs for an entire year. Pills to treat these diseases are donated by pharmaceutical companies and many programmes use existing infrastructure, such as schools and community centres, to administer the treatments—making NTD treatment one of most cost-effective public health initiatives available today.

“I was inspired to support the END7 campaign when I learned how easy it was for young people to get involved,” said Felton. “By donating just a few pence, anyone can help get these treatments to people who need them most and hopefully change the future for the millions of children growing up in developing countries around the world.”

The END7 campaign, launched in January 2012 by the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, an initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, aims to raise the public awareness and funding required to cover the cost of distributing medicine and setting up treatment programmes for NTDs. It is the first comprehensive public awareness campaign dedicated to NTD treatment and elimination and relies heavily on compelling visual content disseminated through various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to spread its message.

Last weekend, Feltbeats.com had the pleasure of attending the Red Carpet Premiere of Warner Bros. Studio Tour-The Making Of Harry Potter. In a joint interview with Magical-Menagerie, and Harry Potters Page, we had the pleasure of interviewing Tom Felton, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright, Nick Moran, David Bradley, Harry Melling, as well as Directors, David Yates, Mike Newell, and David Barron, and the ever lovely  Producer David Heyman. Also included, is video footage of Evanna Lynch, Warwick Davis, and Chris Rankin.

Sorry about the sound quality. The wind was horrible and unfortunately cut out parts of our interview.

And Tom, who played Harry Potter’s schoolboy nemesis, revealed he struggled to contain his emotions when he arrived back at the studios, where the tour opens this weekend.
“I got very emotional, very quickly,” he admitted.
He also said he and Rupert went round the studio playing on broomsticks, and the Slytherin veteran even tried on a Gryffindor robe, (err, what would Snape say to that?!).

Harry Potter’s Tom Felton exclusive: I’m not a heartthrob (hmmm)
Harry Potter star Tom Felton clearly needs his eyes tested.
Because the Harry Potter baddie told Yahoo! omg! that he is absolutely not in any way shape or form a heartthrob. Err we beg to differ.
The hottie (we simply can’t call him anything else) chatted to us at the World Premiere of the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour at the weekend.
And he acted VERY modestly when we asked him what it was like to be an international love object.
Chatting exclusively to us he said: “Oh I wouldn’t go that far!”

Err how far Tom? To the point that most of us have posters up of you in our bedrooms/think naughty thoughts about you at least once a day.
Or to the point that co-star Rupert Grint has an ‘I love Tom Felton’ tee?

We obviously then told him that our followers are pretty smitten by him (as you were tweeting us all day telling us to say hi to Tom Felton) and he exclusively revealed he thought he wouldn’t have a fan base after the Harry Potter films finished.
He told us: “Oh bless, well I guess we all kind of expected that when these films finished no one would ever want to hear from us again, but apparently not!”

Asked if he had a little message for his fans, he said: “That’s great and we love that. This tour is a tribute of the fans passion, because they would never have gone so far as to build this huge stage just for your guys favour.”
Asked what his fondest memory of filming the Potter books was, he said: “It’s very hard to sum it all up in a sentence, but I’ll never forget walking into the Great Hall for the first time as an eager 12-year-old, as I’m sure everyone else will when they get the chance to walk in for the first time.
“And it was just as magical — excuse the pun — now as it was 12 years ago.”
*chortle*
And he revealed a little bit of trickery around the Great Hall that made our mouths open pretty wide. He said: “Am I allowed?! Has this been cleared? Well, one of the things I suppose is the Great Hall’s ceiling and floor were complete moved one by one, tile by tile from less than a mile away at a C-stage back at old Leavesden. So it’s been recrafted brilliantly.”

And while we gulped down some butterbeer whilst on the tour, here’s what the young actor made of it: “Yes, well you’re in for a treat, if you have a sweet tooth, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the taste of butterbeer. It’s no surprise that’s it’s pretty tasty.”
